Dr. Hadis Morkoc of Virginia
Commonwealth University discusses his highly cited work on
semiconductors and other aspects of materials research in an
interview in the InCites editorial section of ISI Essential
Science Indicators®. The 10 year data file in ISI
Essential Science Indicators identifies Dr. Morkoc as the
most-cited materials science researcher of the past decade, with a
total of 1,309 papers referencing his work. In addition, Dr. Morkoc
is currently included as one of the most cited researchers in both
"Physics" and "Engineering" categories on ISIHighlyCited.com®,
which uses a 19 year file of the unique ISI citation data. When the
"Materials Science" category is prepared in 2002, Dr.
Morkoc will appear in that list as well.
